Keeping staff and pupils safe and healthy

Even though school is closed to all but the children of key workers we are still mindful of safeguarding matters and keeping staff and children safe and healthy.

  • Parents must drop their children off in the playground, observing social distancing rules.
  • The EYFS Unit is used for keyworker provision, only authorised adults are allowed to enter the unit, i.e the two members of staff on duty.
  • Children will be asked to wash their hands / apply hand sanitiser at key points of the day.
  • Children will observe social distancing when involved in activities in the unit and social times or outdoor learning activities.
  • Children will be collected from the playground at the end of the day.
Parents will be contacted immediately if their child shows any signs of illness; children must be collected from school as soon as possible.

If any parents show signs of illness, we expect that they will stay off work and keep their children at home until safe to return.
